What is the best way to separate backend from frontend into folders and how best to disable custom sails templates?

There is an almost finished frontend part on the backbone. I decided to use sails.js for the backend . Can anyone suggest how best to separate the backend from the frontend into folders and how best to disable custom sails templates. Thanks to everyone who will respond.

On the last project, they completely abandoned the statics built into sails, they did not lose. So feel free to put sails in a separate folder and write your Gruntfile with blackjack compasses, ejs and liveloads.
