What is the best way to organize an e-mail newsletter?

Hello.
We were tasked with organizing a mailing list system for site visitors.
Requirements:
- chains of letters according to the given conditions;
- analytics (opening, clicks, and so on);
- the subscription can be managed from the personal account of the site.
Without hesitation, we took getresponse, started adding contacts to it using api, sending letters, setting up automation. Everything would be perfect if not for one thing, namely "the subscription can be managed from the site's personal account." According to our data, no service allows you to change the status of subscribers via api.
And in the end, we were faced with the choice of either not implementing the item "subscription can be managed from the site's personal account" (the customer is against it, of course), or writing our own mailing system on the site (which we would not like very much).
What can be done in this situation?

Mailchimp can do this, it has automatic chains and analytics.
Unisender has the ability to sign and unsubscribe a user via API - https://support.unisender.com/index.php?/Knowledge... .
