What is the best way to organize a RESTful API for Wordpress?

Hey! I had a need to organize a REST API for a site running on Wordpress in such a way that nothing would change in the templating of the site (the site will work the same as it works), and the API is another way to get content.
I found two plugins:
- https://ru.wordpress.org/plugins/json-rest-api/
- https://ru.wordpress.org/plugins/json-api/
But the stack, to put it mildly, is not mine at all . Need help comparing plugins and answering the question: will they satisfy the main condition.

About the plugin:
As far as I know, https://wordpress.org/plugins/rest-api/ is "sort of" official and they are gradually integrating it directly into the engine.
