What is the best way to master the front end path?
Good day!
Dear experts, I have a question. I myself now work in the technical support of one large IT company, I went to this position with the idea of becoming a developer right there in the future. Therefore, almost all my working time I try to master the front end. I have already completed the html and css course at https://htmlacademy.ru/ - just a great thing. Throughout the online course, there is a ton of motivation, everything is chewed, explained, you constantly do it yourself.
BUT!
Now I got to JavaScript and got stuck ... Before that, I watched the video lectures "Specialist" of Bauman University and read https://learn.javascript.ru/- I understood the basics, but I understand that this is VERY small. A bunch of features, etc. until you understand one thing, you will forget the other if a lot of time has passed. Those. You have to do something all the time so you don't lose interest. And to make it work - in most cases I sit on one function for a day, while I do something similar.
Maybe someone faced a similar situation?

Well duck congratulations) You got to the first programming language. And it’s not at all easy to jump from scratch right away.
You need to start from the very bottom and sort out all the details, do not rush to do everything in separate pieces, such as sliders and other front-end gadgets.
I love this man's lessons. He recently started a series with java script and there are already 77 lessons xD Look for a start, or buy a book right away.

Based on your background, js is your first programming language. Therefore, I would advise you to start by studying algorithmization and programming in general. Let me explain why: reading in the js documentation about (let's say) cycles, you will learn about the implementation of cycles in js, and not about what it is and what it is for. So you need to start with the basics. Of course, you can also study at random, only this approach will take much more time.
JavaScript courses will be on htmlacademy until the end of the year by subscription. You can wait.
To practice and develop knowledge of JS, I use www.codewars.com , applying the knowledge gained there just on the learn.javascript.ru resource . There are sooo many diverse tasks for using the entire spectrum of JS. At first it was difficult for me, but slowly I dispersed, and there was an interest to grow in this direction. So keep it up. All in your hands.
