What is the best way to select an image from the gallery in the settings and where to save it, i.e. copy or use from there where they are? And is it worth abandoning the Preferences Framework by making a separate layout?

In Preferences, you can make an item that launches any Activity. In this Activity we make a choice of a picture. Copy the image to ContextWrapper.getFilesDir()
