What is the best way to learn the basics of a framework?

How did you learn frameworks? What would you recommend? Is it realistic with almost zero knowledge of English?
As far as I understand Russian video courses are rubbish. What then can you advise?

I learned laravel from the lessons on laracasts.com, in english but sooo clear. Overall, the best video course I've ever watched.

Not so much rubbish. But Video lessons should not be limited. After reviewing them, you will understand what you are dealing with, but further study and application will be taken from the framework documentation. And the documentation (often) for the latest versions is in English. But this is not critical.

Once I tried to come up with my own, worked on several projects with him for a couple of years.
Then I got acquainted with Zend Framework. My bike is no longer interesting.
Then Yii and immediately changed jobs. ZF became uninteresting.
Then Laravel, experimented in my free time. And a symphony - they are similar.
Then Phalcon, in his free time and I really liked him, did some more complex projects for himself.
Then Python, strengthened the language and made a project for himself in Django.
Then nodejs, and on Express I made a project for myself.
In fact, I trained on small tasks.
Read books on ZF, Yii, Laravel. In Russian. This is in addition to everything that I generally read about development and languages.
I watched video tutorials on Laravel.
I read the code of frameworks in especially incomprehensible places - I watched how they implement it, sent my corrections to the official repositories.
English is necessary. But he's not complicated.
