What is the best way to learn CMS?

What is the best way to learn different CMS? For example, for OpenCart there is practically no tutorial at all, for WP and Joomla there is, but still the structure itself does not seem to be described there, so here's how the option can sit down, open the index.php file and look at the line, let's say on the 2nd line the connection of which -So, I'm going to that file, there's something else in it, and so on. then return and recursion :) I think this is a good option to thoroughly study the listed CMS (OpenCart, Joomla, WP) or are there other options?

Start by learning PHP and OOP. Then it will be easier for you, it will be the most effective way.

This is a terrible option.
In general, it all depends on the goals of training. If you need to learn how to develop websites on CMS, then you can’t imagine anything better than practice.
If you need to understand the internal structure, for example, to write your own CMS, then it is better to disassemble it not from index.php, but by functionality. You take some functionality - for example, the formation of CNC, routing - and you are already looking for it in the structure and trying to understand why it is so and not otherwise.
