What is the best way to integrate reporting into an enterprise application?

Good afternoon.
There is an enterprise application, the back-end is written in Java + hadoop. The application was developed recently, there was a need to embed reporting in the project. I'm not a web developer, I do data analytics. There is an idea to implement reporting in python and embed it in the project. I would like to know how laborious it is and maybe there are more interesting options?
I don’t want to do it in Java, I don’t know the language, I don’t have time to study it within the framework of this project.
