What is the best way to improve JS skills in open source projects?
There is a good basic level of JavaScript proficiency, but I want to achieve zen in the code.
I read that it is best to download skill by participating in open source development. Has anyone had a similar experience, what is the best way to go and where to start?

1. You can make your own open-source project
2. Surely there are some well-known JS libraries, plugins that you use and that you like? Find them on github, think about what functionality you would like to add, fork the project, add a feature, make a pull request. If it is accepted, then you did a good job and came up with a really useful addition. If they don't, keep trying.
There is such a project where you can find a place in open source
