What is the best way to implement multi-user editing of a file?
If in a nutshell there is a plate in which the data needs to be changed and made so that they immediately change for everyone, there is no direct connection between users, only 1 shared folder on the windows server, that is, databases and other goodies disappear. So far, I’ve come up with only one thing, mark up the file and select a certain area in it for each cell, so only a part of the file will be changed and it can not be blocked. Before recording, check with what happened when the file was read and if someone changed the data, offer to leave the changes or cancel. The second option is a bunch of small files, but this option has a significant minus, over the network getting a list of files in a folder in which there are several thousand of them is a dreary task. Need advice on the best way to do this.
