What is the best way to host a database?

There is an application written in Node.js + MongoDB + Angular. It is necessary to provide good ping in Europe, Asia and America. I will do the balancing using DNS. What is the best way to host a database? So far, I have only 2 options:
1. Synchronize data between 3 servers
2. Place the database in Europe / America and make queries to it, so the ping will not be the best.
What is the best way to proceed?
