What is the best way to deploy ownCloud on amazon?

There are several ready-made options for
Bitnami
owncloud.jp
TurnKey
Which, probably, have been worked out, and you don’t need to spend time setting it up.
Or set manually.
It’s not at all difficult for me, but I prefer to use what has already been done so as not to waste time. Am I missing something? Using ready-made nonsecure or something else?

No, you are not missing anything. Perhaps everything is even better set up from the very beginning than you set it up yourself. Do not forget to install only the SSL certificate after installation, if it is not available by default.

Why not take Ubuntu and connect the official repository? Then everything is put elementary apt-get install owncloud, updated the same way. This option is closer to me, because I understand exactly what and how it works. And yes, I have it in a Docker container for portability, maybe there are already ready-made containers - then it generally just rises in one line.
