What is the best VDS to take under frontend nginx?

Good afternoon.
We have a normal server for a project on IIS, where everything is at once, fronend, backend, database.
But sometimes we have a bunch of requests for statics and want to distribute them with nginx
. I had 2 options:
One server with a separate domain for distributing statics.
Traffic proxying through VDS.
Why VDS is easier to change the configuration.
Expected parameters:
3000 online;
5000 requests per second static
2000 requests per second dynamic (proxying)
using SSL
Static capacity 500MB(total) 10MB
per user
What configuration will handle this?

2 GB RAM (500 * 2 + for the OC itself) and a couple of cores. In 2017, giving away static to IIS is ridiculous.
What is 10 MB per user?)

For the sake of statics, you can leave your server + CDN. The bottom line is that CDN caches static files and thus reduces the load on your server, and also speeds up the loading of satiks for users anywhere in the world through a network of distributed servers.
If there is nowhere to store the statics, then most CDN providers provide storage.
CDN provider options: SkyparkCDN , G-CDN , CDNvideo , Ngenix , Selectel , Cloudflare and others.
