What is the best static site generator to choose?

Good day, guys!
Yesterday I found this one on the Internet - staticsitegenerators.net list.
And I have a question: what is the difference between them? No, I understand that they are written in different languages, but what is the advantage of php over Ruby or Python? I am new to this business and trying to figure out all the subtleties. Which is the easiest to use to learn?
And anyway, which ones do you use? So it will be easier to understand what to pay attention to and what to start experimenting with! =)
Thank you!

Believe me, if you could take a beginner to tell all the subtleties of the language like this and everything would become beautiful, then programmers would receive salaries at the level of janitors from a neighboring entrance.
You start learning PHP, do a couple of projects on it. Didn't like it? Go ahead, learn NodeJS, do a couple of projects. Didn't like it? Let's move on... Repeat until you decide which is better :)

I tried several static generators and settled on middlemanapp.com
It is probably the only generator that is actively developed (and has more than one contributor), with active support on the forum. The set of functional is simply impressive - I won’t even list it, go read it. Gems again allow you to add a lot of things from above and automate any routine (for example, image compression, favicon generation, etc.). If you need something yourself, it's not so difficult to write your own gem.
I don’t even make static sites on it sometimes (with sinatra) %)
Well, I also wrote my own template for it:

It's a matter of taste and your needs. I can advise you to try Octopress, if ruby and its ecosystem do not cause negative.

so as not to produce an extra topic.
Are there visual simple gene stat sites? For a teapot?
My task is to attach a pseudo-blog to a business card site.
Weekly content updates.
Unformatted, without the ability for visitors to write reviews - for this, linking the social network - with the same content.
That is, the plain HTML format is mine.
The task is simple. Deal with a complex generator - I'm a teapot. It is better to spend time on content and its quality. Basic skills to compose HTML with styles, what is ftp, server settings - I have them.
