What is the best SD card for Live Boot and HDD replacement?

I want to use MicroSD 128GB (enough for me) for convenient storage of the OS and complete replacement of the HDD. The main reason is the portability, or rather, the mobility of the OS. Secondary, but speed is also important. If the download takes more than 20 minutes, the idea will have to be forgotten. Which microSD will be the best? SDHC class 10, right?
For easy transfer, I want to store MicroSD in my smartphone and connect it to a PC. Should I choose a smartphone with USB 3.0 / USB Type C or will it not help?
Do most BIOSes support Android Mass Storage devices like normal flash drives?
There are a lot of factors on which it is easy to stumble and not get a result, which makes the idea absurd, but still I ask you to look at it from the other side and give advice.

Flash drives are extremely unreliable, especially if the OS will work from them. Start time will also be different.
It is better to take some Zalman-ZM (model) with a small ssd, it will be much more sense and hundreds of times more convenient. I still use the ZM-VE200 with an old 120GB screw in it, an extremely handy thing, especially if you have e-sata on the target PC for very fast file transfer.
