Both repositories make sense:
for packages that are considered relevant to your installation by the Kubuntu community
for adapting more recent Kubuntu packages to your installation
. I don't get it, though, choosing from repositories, if you're frustrated at all by the mess in the ranks of Ubuntu. I switched to Arch Linux for the same reasons and am satisfied. For those who need more stable and combed hair - there is Manjaro. To simplify the first installation - Attergos, NetRunner, Evo/Lution
