What is the best plan for hosting test VMs on Amazon EC2?

Good afternoon

There is a need to use up to ten virtual machines on Windows server 2008 - 2012. I do not want to buy and install a server at home. Looking to buy a spot on amazon. the main question on chatsi tariffs, not everything is immediately clear. There is an option to reserve a seat, and there is hourly access. If, for example, I use virtual machines directly for two hours a day, and the rest of the time they are with the company's dead network, what will I have to pay for micro instance?
There are no requirements for hard disk space yet.

Thank you in advance

You need to reserve instances if you plan to use them constantly, then one hour of work will be cheaper.
In your case, it makes no sense to reserve if you plan to run the machines for two hours a day. If the instance is turned off, you won't be charged for it. You only pay for the used space in EBS, as well as for each external IP if it is not attached to the instance.

I also note that the billing in the Amazon is hourly, the machine can work for a couple of minutes, they will score a full hour.
On turned off machines, disks still beat, unused elastic ip also beats.

but for turned off machines they don’t beat as a processor + memory resource, right?
