What is the best Java book?

Which of the books is best for me, a newbie to Java who only knows the basics of this language?
Java Philosophy (Bruce Eckel) or Learning Java (Kathy Sierra)?

Try Java The Complete Guide to Shieldt, if it gets difficult, then take Cathy Sierra, and then return to Shieldd. After Schildt, you can take Horstmann to consolidate the material, if you have enough time, and then you can take Eckel's Java Philosophy. I think that this algorithm should help you :)

I often see this question and always recommend the author Herbert Schildt.
I haven't seen a better book.

The best book is the one that's right for you. For example, I liked Cathy Sierra for example. But damn, it's tiring sometimes to wade through these comics. Or, for example, McGrath "Java for beginners" I liked much more. Briefly and to the point. In general, try, read all the books you can get to. Internet to help)
