What is the best component to use for a large catalog (4-5,000,000 pieces)?

Hello. Recommend a component for creating a catalog with characteristics.
Kind:
Organization.
There are different characteristics (made as characteristics / attributes / extra fields (in DJ-Catalog2))
- Type
- Country
- Region
- City
- Headings (several pieces.)
DJ-Catalog2 was chosen for tests. 1st category (all organizations as a list).
Problems: it took more than 250 seconds to open the "list of organizations". When viewing the 1st organization for more than 100 seconds. Search - more than 120 seconds. Filter more than 120 seconds (only go to the filter page).
Having cut sql (crippled directly in the code to open at all) queries "list of organizations" and "viewing the 1st organization". I realized - it could be a stupid idea: to climb to cut more and search.
Actually the question is: what component is better to use to create such a directory for ~ 4-5,000,000 ?
