What is the best and easiest way to redirect users to a new domain + change some links?

There is a site on the domain1.com domain. Let's say it's a blog. And this is an old domain.
There is a new domain2.net domain where it will now live. Links to some articles may also change.
The engine is custom.

domain1.com has been extended for the current year. There is no hosting for domain1.com and is not planned.
Hosting for domain2.net is

What is the best and easiest way to redirect domain1.com users to domain2.net?
Condition: when users go to domain1.com/articles/123, they get to the current article on domain2.net, which may still be on /articles/123, or maybe on /articles/
456 known.

I have an idea how to do it. I am mainly interested in

1) how the majority of people do it. Not everyone is a programmer.

2) And and how would you do it as a programmer
