I know that there are algorithms for forming parts of the backup / start keys and other things.
Conventionally, there are 3 directors, and in order to avoid simultaneous access to the finance base, they are protected by keys, one for each and 2 in different safes. Those. to gain access, each of them must indicate their piece of the key, or if someone cannot, then and only then the key is taken from the safe (or all at once)
