What is software for robots written in, is Python appropriate?
Good day to all)
Dear users, please tell me what the stuffing for various kinds of robots, for example, Boston Dynamics, is mainly written on? And most importantly, is it possible to get by with one Python when creating a complex or simple robot? I understand it all depends on the hardware, but in general...
P/S: I don't mean AI, i.e. we mean that the robot is controlled by a person, and not by himself.

C/C++
There are also industrial robots. There are a lot of ISO GOST standards. And its own specific software.
For some, they develop their own languages.
Limited only by the stuffing of the robot. If its hardware allows you to run Python - go ahead. One of the most convenient and flexible languages.
You will advance faster if you use ready-made solutions.
With all due respect to Python, but people may stop thinking that you can program hardware on a professional level in pits, java and other java scripts. Indulge in an arduino and turn on the light from cotton, please. But if you want to seriously engage in embedded development, then stop making a soft bed for yourself and avoid difficulties - learn C. And leave pythons and java to web developers.
