What is Process and Technique in the context of Software Testing?

In the Software Testing Test of the upwork, there are questions, the essence of which is not completely clear to me, not to mention the answers. For each of these questions, you can choose a single answer.
Which of the following is a Process?

  • unit testing
  • Integration Testing
  • functional testing
  • Test Closure
Which of the following is a Technique?
  • Test Case execution
  • Retesting

Questions from Upwork are largely based on the ISTQB Foundation certification system for software testing. In this case, I would answer:
1) Testing according to ISTQB is primarily a process. Therefore, the correct options would be Unit testing, Integration Testing, Functional testing.
2) Testing technique. In ISTQB, techniques refer to test design techniques for effectively compiling test cases, such as Decision Tables or Boundary Values. The question, of course, is not entirely correct, but if you follow this logic, most likely the correct answer will be Test Case Development
In general, I recommend reading the material on the ISTQB Foundation Level, without them it will be difficult to pass the test on Upwork. Especially when it comes to Whitebox questions. Moreover, unlike many Java certifications, ISTQB provides real knowledge. I think this is a must have for every tester.

From Wikipedia:
1. Process (lat. processus - “flow”, “move”, “advancement”):
2. Technique (from other Greek τεχνικός, from τέχνη - art, skill, skill)
I would answer:
1 Functional testing is a lengthy process that involves many different techniques.
2. Developing test cases requires skill, which is what testers are valued for.
Although, of course, other points can be pulled by the ears, that's why it's a test :))
