What is planned to replace PJAX in Yii2.1?

https://github.com/yiisoft/yii2/wiki/roadmap for version 2.1 states - Remove PJAX support . What is planned to replace PJAX in Yii2.1? Will there be another widget/extension or will everyone implement this functionality on their own?

As far as I remember, it was about removing pjax from yii and creating a separate component with it.
In fact, nothing will change for the developer.
