For starters, 3 useful sites: 24whois.ru for checking records if you don’t want to mess with nslookup, mxtoolbox.com for checking smtp server settings and pdd.yandex.ru free DNS server.
Suppose you have a white IP 50.100.150.200 , through which the future mail server and the homepage.ru domain are available .
1. Create an A record for the given IP address. For example, it could be:

2. Create an entry for @ MX with a lower priority than the existing ones (for example, for servers with a priority of 10 and 20, the main one will be 10) and enter the created subdomain into it:
