One of these days, some serious people will make a presentation of a certain Ecommerce system.
I already know all the standard basic features such as a basket, checkout, etc. and everything that our company needs in it.
But what about the advanced features that I don’t see now but may be needed in the future?
What important things and goodies should you ask about?
what is more advanced in projects like ebay, amazon, what is not in sites on simple ecommerce platforms like wp - extensions that sell t-shirts?

I will try to offer rather narrow questions that I myself have encountered:
1) The ability to integrate with payment systems and courier services
2) Multilingual, multicurrency
3) Is there a built-in database of countries, regions and cities. And how can it be compared with the cities of courier services when integrating? Does the internal database know the IDs of the cities of third-party delivery services? If not, it's routine manual work.
4) Ask about flexibility in terms of templates
5) Do the products have options (options such as color, size)
