What is ConstraintLayout for?

I heard that it is more productive than other layouts. Can they replace them? And is it even necessary, if so?

In my opinion, this is not about performance, but about how you are going to place objects on the screen. ConstraintLayout allows you to do a lot, so it should be used where its capabilities are needed.
