What is better to replace TrueCrypt (free analogues)?
I have been using TrueCrypt for a long time. Everything is more than satisfactory. But the development of TrueCrypt was suspended in 2014. There was even information that the latest TrueCrypt releases were compromised (vulnerabilities, backdoors, virus?). Of course, I had downloaded the release before all these unpleasant things.
BitLocker please do not offer. This is a bit not what I need.
There are a lot of similar programs on the Internet - your eyes run wide. Something implements functions similar to TrueCrypt, something partially. Testing everything is hard. And the test of time is the best test.
What is the best replacement for TrueCrypt at the moment? What can you recommend?
