What is better to buy for iOS development?
In general, I wanted to teach how to work with iOS for a long time, in particular in XCode, but there is no technology from Apple. Only lenovo laptop and desktop. I don’t have much money (student) about $600-700 and I don’t know what is better to buy, an old used Macbook or a mac mini? on the one hand, the macbook is portable and you can carry it with you, which is very convenient, but at the same time, I already have a laptop. On the other hand, you can buy a mac mini, it will of course be more powerful than an old macbook but not portable and I can use either a laptop and a mac mini at the same time (because I have one monitor so the desktop will not be available), and if a macbook then I can use desired by all three devices. What do you advise?
PS Installing a hackintosh on a virtual machine is not an option, although my computer is powerful, but there are no smooth controls.
PPS tried to put makos on the laptop but something didn’t work out.

And what is bad about hackintosh in terms of "smoothness of control"?
Buy an SSD, put the Axis on it and go ahead to learn XCode.
Actually, I did this myself with my 2011 computer. Everything went very smoothly. I fiddled with it for 3 days, but I got a lot of experience.
Budget 3500 rub.
Last resort, if you don't like it, take it down.
Too little data. Which particular Macbook and Mac Mini can you buy?
The main thing is more RAM. If you can buy a MacBook with 8GB of storage, then buy it. And if you can buy a 16GB mac mini (or a 16 GB mac mini), then this option is better.
There is another factor. Apple is dropping support for older devices after a while. There is a risk in a year or two to remain with nothing.
