What is better for VDS: 5 GB of RAM or SSD (!) + 2 GB of RAM, if the price of the tariffs is the same?
At the moment I use 2-2.5 out of 5 GB of RAM according to statistics.
I think it makes sense to switch to another tariff with the same characteristics and price, but 2 RAM instead of 5, but + SSD
Will this add performance or will the borderline use of RAM lead to a slowdown?
I think I will be able to optimize sites to reduce the consumption of RAM, but only slightly.

I believe that knowledgeable people will suggest something like:
