What is a target graphic?

I started learning Unity myself. Without textbooks, as I was advised, I analyze each question in Google and write down the answer.
The very first task is a question. What is the "Target Graphic" in the "Input Field", or how to make an input field?

I looked at the site, due to my level of English and the crooked translation of Google, I did not understand anything.

Transition are transition options. Color Tint - Changes the color of the button depending on what state it is in. And Target Graphics is the graphics used to interact with the component.
