What is a program for reading books in English (translation of words on hover)?

All the same, sooner or later everyone will have to start reading literature in English. So I started.
It all started with off documentation on stylus. Installed a browser extension to translate words on hover. Everything is cool, everything is translated on the sites and off-docs are quite, although not very fast, but you can read.
Generally. Tell me a program for win, which will also translate words on hover, but not in the browser, but in reading programs (adobe reader for example.).

There is an option with qtranslate. Highlight a word or sentence, click on the hotkey, and get the translation.

A bunch of dictionaries translate a word wherever it is not a picture.
From paid Lingvo, from free - GoldenDict , which must include the so-called. "scan mode". PS under win8 this function does not work for him, probably, something needs to be tweaked somewhere ... But in the seven it works with a bang. Hovered the mouse over a word - received a translation (if necessary, you can set modifiers so that translations do not pop up where they are not needed).

In all apple products (ipads, macbooks), this functionality is built directly into the OS, any word can be selected and translated. In the readers from Amazon, it is also quite conveniently done. Under Windows, third-party programs are needed, such as the same Abbyy Lingvo.
