What is a good book on computer science (university level) to read?

I am preparing for a master's degree in Applied Informatics, before that I studied in another specialty and I don’t understand some things in this area.
You need something like a textbook, but for universities.
Are there any books that are the de facto standard in this area?
Need information about:

  • JP
  • Algorithms
  • ON
  • Software design
  • AIS

In this case, I think "The Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs" from the MIT course will do. It is much simpler than Knut's books!
