What, how and where to study web design?

Godmother is going to study as a web designer after school at the institute. Tell me where to send it, where to read something, watch a video and who will explain what it is all about, advantages / disadvantages.
I'm not sure she understands correctly what it is.

In web design, you need to understand the technical part, how people (including the technical team and users) will then work with these designs, and at the same time you need to "feel" to make a good web design.
I recommend starting with studying how web applications work in order to understand why, for example, a beautiful picture as an application design will not work, and what difficulties it will incur in development.
Second, you need analytical thinking. It's not just drawing pictures, but you need to understand how it will solve business problems, and how people will use it. Therefore, you will need to read documents, understand the requirements for the product, which then will need to be "translated" into the design of the application.
Thirdly, understand how sites are arranged (structure, header, content, footer, menu), and look at different UI Kits to understand what all interfaces are usually built of (plus or minus, if without bells and whistles).
Then you just need to take product ideas and draw designs. If without layout experience, then you need someone who will tell you what mistakes are in the design (for technical specialists). Therefore, it is better to get settled somewhere and start gaining experience.
Well, practice-practice-practice, nothing more.
With experience comes a sense of what is good and what is not. It's hard to explain :)
In terms of tools - Zeplin, or vector, but I can be wrong, because I'm not a designer, I just know that cool designers work with this. If it is difficult (vector is not easy for a beginner), you can start with Photoshop.

It's better to just do site designs right away, just some fictional company.
I initially learned to make websites, I did the designs myself, now at a more or less normal level.
Soon I want to go to the site where they sell ready-made websites with designs, I looked at different courses
but they did not help)
