What hardware is suitable for Android player with m.2 SSD?

Hello, I need a portable player, I don’t care if I carry it in my tablet bag ... I had
such an idea - to buy an m.2 SSD for a couple of terabytes, insert it into a compact USB case, connect it to a smartphone via OTG and get a gigantic media library offline.
But immediately a question arose for connoisseurs
1. Are there any types of smartphones on android in the form of a roomy box with a display, for example, for creating terminals / online cash desks and other home-made equipment?
2. Are there portable devices with m2 connectors at all?
What can you advise interesting?

m.2 is a high-speed device (especially with PCIe) and therefore eats a lot. A flash drive would be better. And what bitrate? If without high-quality acoustics and with low, then 64GB is enough for a week.
