Is a new commit automatically created for the changed ones, or will all changes go into the most recent commit? Or is it also possible to create new commits on the site? Thanks in advance.

Created. It will be the same as when committing from LAN.
You will be asked for the commit name for your changes made from the site, and you can change this name
