What happens if the primary dns fails?

Hello everyone
, tell me plz (I didn’t just come across it), what will happen if the primary dns falls? that is, just bind on the virtual machine grunted and that's it. while the secondary ones work. Will the role of master pass to one of the slaves? Or how will it be then?

The role will not pass of course. Secondary (and all others) will answer the user's questions. To make changes to the zone, you will need to either raise the old master or make one of the remaining masters.
