What happens if the mail service company closes?

Let's say a company serving a postal service (for example, yahoo, mail.ru, gmail, Yandex, and others) closes (goes bankrupt, will be bought out).
What will happen to the user's mailbox?
Does this mean that he will no longer be able to use his mailbox?

if someone does not outbid the company and the servers are turned off, so they will sink into oblivion. But who in their right mind would do that?

That's why, in order not to take such risks, buy a domain, connect Yandex-mail for the domain. From the registrar, direct the domain DNS to Yandex DNS and then don't worry if Yandex closes. - you can park your domain at any time to any hosting and renew your mailbox.
PS Yes, and yet you shouldn't be paranoid anymore. than me )))

If the one who bought this company has no intention to provide services further, he will simply turn off the servers :) especially if it is a free mailer, where no one owes anything to anyone at all.
