What happened to the SSL certificate of https://mail.rambler.ru?

Some time ago, the following problem arose: when entering the site mail.rambler.ru , Google Chrome gives a warning that the certificate is not trusted (Thawte registrar).

What is the reason? Tricks with DNS and Man-In-the-Middle? Or is it like that for everyone? The most interesting thing is that the registrar himself uses his own certificate, which is trusted by Chrome. But the names of the registrar there are different.
