Gentlemen, lately my composer has started to work very unstable. It takes an insanely long time to load, periodically dies, statistics show a sharp decline in downloads over the past month / one and a half to the level of the end of 2012. Does anyone know what happened to him lately? Hope this is a temporary issue.

I don’t know, I actively use it, it works fine, I don’t remember any problems, except when the github is lying. However, lately I have dragged all frequently used packages to the local repository to make it work faster.
