What forum engine should I use?

Greetings!
I have not used ready-made forum engines for a long time (since 2008, I think) and I don’t understand at all what is happening now.
What forum engines are currently relevant, which one is better (in your opinion) worth using?

If you can afford it, then the Invision Power Board is a classic forum engine.

I honestly use vBulletin, I consider it one of the best engines for forums. Because and the admin panel is convenient, and users can do everything conveniently
