What firewood and what manipulations with a tambourine will save me when installing Linux on a Lenovo G575?

Hello! I decided to get some sense out of Lenovo G575 on amd-450 with Radeon 6310 by installing some Linux system on it. I am a complete noob in this business, so the choice fell on Ubuntu, Mint and PCLinuxOS. But no matter which axis I put on them - it was not possible to work - wild brakes, when rebooting - a black screen, and so with everyone. Obviously, the vidyuha is to blame. Installing proprietary firewood did not give any effect ... I only managed to knock out the sense of mint version 12, but the waffle constantly falls in it, I don’t know what to do. I really hope for you, dear toasterovchane...

OK, let's talk about Ubuntu in more detail. Which version?
Proprietary drivers - still that hemorrhoids, put open and a new kernel, discussed here recently: How to install drivers on AMD correctly so that you don’t catch a black screen when updating the kernel?
The 3.18 kernel can be taken as written in the comments here: How to set up a wi-fi connection on a laptop with Ubuntu?
