What files does NetBeans open on startup?

I can't figure out what files NetBeans opens on startup. I have several projects created, from which the program selects files in a way that is incomprehensible to me. Even when I close the project and set the main one to something completely different, NetBeans stubbornly continues to open files from some projects that have long been closed and forgotten at startup.

In case it matters - Linux Mint, NetBeans 6.9

@gibbzy

In my opinion, it opens files that were open when closed

Try using CubeOn. This won't answer your question, but you won't have to think about it in the future.
CubeOn is a task-focused interface. With it, exactly those files that were opened last time when working on a specific task are opened. Plus - you can temporarily switch between tasks without losing context.

I only had this when the system crashed, when I had to reset the computer (Gnome problems with two monitors).
Those. apparently NB writes its state on exit. Look at stderr, maybe it ends incorrectly?
