What file system to use for the backup server?

Hello, I have such a question, I'm going to make my own "Time Capsule" based on some Linux server distribution. Since Time Machine does hourly backup rewrites, the question arose about the file system of this storage. Please tell me in the direction of which fs to look?

Of all modern ext4 is the most reliable. And the nearest alternatives such as btrfs, zfs, etc. not only are they not that reliable - they are also CoW, which, to put it mildly, will not suit you with such a frequency of rewriting.

FreeBSD + ZFS, you can cook it yourself in the form of a ready-made assembly, if you really want Linux, then I would look towards xfs, but ext4 will, in principle, be the norm.
