What does the FB permission request mean "**** wants to post publicly on Facebook for you"?

I wanted to log into the site through Facebook. Facebook wrote "**** wants to post publicly available on Facebook for you"

If I allow, then the site will post its posts in my feed?
P.S. Changed to "only me" just in case.

Such a request means that the application wants to get the right to post some posts on your wall, yes. But! This in no way means that the application will place them without your knowledge. For example, you get a new level in LingvaLeo and you are offered to share this event with your friends on Facebook - you agree and LingvaLeo posts a post on your wall. Only and everything. No posting of material behind your back will follow :)
