What does server hourly mean?
Hello!
I want to buy hosting for a site that rarely gets visited. What is more profitable to choose: hourly payment (how is it calculated?) or payment per month.
Pay attention to vscale.
Thanks in advance.

Hourly pay is considered, no matter how strange it sounds, hourly. If you need a VPS to test something for a couple of hours, then it is better to use hourly payment for this. If the project will stand and spin even if no one uses it, then paying for a month is your option. The amount will be the same in both cases. I want to draw your attention to the fact that if the VPS is turned off (not deleted), then the counter is still ticking, you will have to pay even for the turned off VPS. Payment stops only after the removal of the VPS.
Hourly is for developers.
They create it and delete it every other day.
It does not suit you - it will always be on for you.
In general, already answered what is the difference.
As for me, the most important difference with hourly payment is the final cost per month, usually more expensive (x2-x3) than "regular" hosting with payment for a month in advance.
Hourly payment means that tomorrow you will run out of money and the server will stop working. If you need a couple of days a month hosting for personal needs, then a good option. Paid for 2 days - worked
Payment per month means that you paid for a month and work calmly
