What does Nano M-/ mean?

Probably the funniest question. But I can't figure out what to press in nano to go to the last line of the file. The hint says:

M-/

M is a button assigned to Meta. Typically assigned in xorg.conf. Where? Where do you say. For some reason, I have Esc :) That is, you need to press Esc-/ Also, the help says that Ctrl-End (^End) still works
