What does it mean designed for enterprise projects (Java)?

What who knows real projects? What projects are written for servers?
I just still don’t understand what is such a big plus for Java (if it needs a virtual machine), whatever one may say, it still works slower than the same C.
So far, I can only write in Java for Android, but what can I do more seriously except for a couple of Desktop don't know

  • Designed for enterprise projects means - budgets for 100 CPU Core and 500 Gb RAM. Who does not have it is not designed for.
  • A big plus for Java is that enterprise developers get paid well.

On java:
Odnoklassniki, Yandex - in addition to search, almost everything is on Java, Mail.ru - the same, Youtube - Java, Amazon, ebay, Eldorado, Ozon, Google - a lot on Java, Twitter - scala, but works on JVM
On java they do something very large and something that will work for more than one year.
It's hard to write a website in C. Java is much easier than C.

whatever one may say, it still works slower than the same C.

It is simply impossible to write most of these projects in C: a completely different level of complexity and timing. Very often unacceptable for the project.
So far I can only write in Java for Android
This is the only popular thing that a beginner can do in the field of Java, or what can be done as a freelancer.

For business, the creation and support of a Java product is optimal in terms of money-time-quality. For developers - not the highest entry threshold, a good ecosystem, a large number of open source libraries.
Everyone is happy.
