What does community highlighting and community detection mean?

There is a task (in python), the condition of which I did not understand:

see which media write more about different people and thus analyze the structure of the media. Or which rubrics of which persons are mentioned. For example: you have persons who are jointly mentioned in media texts (for example, within one paragraph). The more such references, the stronger the connection. Further, if you have only one media, then you can simply make a community detection, if there are several, then work with a bipartite graph

I don't need a solution to the problem. I want to understand what is required of me (perhaps a stupid question).
I need to find some kind of news site (for example, ria.ru, which publishes the latest news). Take news that is connected with people (with actors for example). And what to do next? What kind of "connection" is there?: 'The more such references, the stronger the connection'. What is community detection and bipartite graph? There is little information in Russian on the Internet
