What do you use to cut a PSD template for layout?

Hello everyone, I use Photoshop to cut the pictures I need from the PSD template, and I thought that everyone was doing it. However, recently I saw the link
htmlbook.ru/blog/vozvrashchenie-nozha-i-parovoza-r...
and thought, maybe there are more suitable tools for this?
I would be glad if you share some of your observations, methods - advise some software, plugins, etc.

Adobe Fireworks. Great for the web. I will even say more - it is designed for him, while Photoshop was originally for working with photos. Unfortunately, I didn't often work with layouts for Fireworks, mostly they were American clients. But after getting acquainted with this program, I make all my designs and prototypes in it.

Guys, well, let's still use the search. Already chewed many times.
These two will definitely be enough (they can also cut for mobile phones)
Cut and slice
Pngexpress

I use Photoshop CC, it has automatic asset generation. I rename the layers / shapes / folders I need in the form of "imagename.png", and then I generate an image library using Photoshop itself. If you need to split a specific image into two (or more) parts, I use layer via cut and rename the resulting fragments in the same way.
